So, some guy emailed me about my eHow article for getting T-Mobile Push Email to work on WM 6. The link to the article is here: http://www.ehow.com/how_2245462_use-email-features-windows-mobile.html. However, he's having issue editing his registry and keep getting access denied. To fix his problem and to simplify the process, I created a .cab installation file to enter the registry and put the files automatically at the right place. You can download the .cab file here.

Finally, Microsoft released its official version of Facebook for Windows Mobile. I almost made one for myself only if the mobile site of Facebook is not good enough. I think they are pretty late in the game but again, late is always better than never. You can download the app from: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/facebook.mspx I still playing around with the application but I don't think it will gives you instant notification of update like what Blackberry does. One thing I know, it requires the phone to be restarted after I install the application. I thought they supposed to get rid of that on Windows Mobile platform.

I recently signed up for Microsoft MyPhone Beta. It's basically a service offered by Microsoft for syncin' your phone contents which includes contacts, tasks, calendar, text messages, documents, even your storage card. I use this service to replace my mail2web.com account that give you exchange syncin' but no longer offer free ActiveSync support starting on May 1st 2009. I have used this service to sync my contact, calendar and tasks, so far so good. It gives you 200 MB of storage which is plenty if you are only storing phonebooks, calendars or tasks not including your files/documents. It's ActiveSync on the go! try it on http://myphone.microsoft.com

You still can take advantage of MyFaves service on non-enabled MyFaves phone but you need to manage your Fave5 number through their website at http://my.t-mobile.com

I just sign up for MyFaves service from T-Mobile. However, since my phone (I have AT&T Fuze / HTC Raphael) is not from T-Mobile and is a non-MyFaves enabled phone, the CSR told me that I cannot use MyFaves service. However, after further research, I found out that you can just repackage all the .DLL files and registry entries required for MyFaves from other MyFaves enabled Windows Mobile phone. So, here is MyFaves.cab file for those of you that want to install MyFaves application in your Windows Mobile phone. Tested on WM 5.0, 6.0, and 6.1. Enjoy!
